I have struggled with anxiety for pretty much my whole life.
What was once “high functioning” anxiety that helped me stay organized and become a doctor by 29 years old…became a crippling clinical anxiety disorder after the birth of my twin girls in 2016.
For months, I couldn’t recognize myself.
I worried constantly. My brain never shut off.
I doubted myself and my ability be a mother relentlessly.
I couldn’t sleep, was angry all the time and felt ashamed of myself.
I was a chronic people-pleasing mess and felt resentful towards almost everyone.
It wasn’t pretty and I lost myself.
I realized that I was the only one who could really get my anxiety under control.
I began taking bold action towards quieting the chaos in my life and mind that was making me feel crazy.
I applied CBT and mindfulness strategies to learn how to manage my anxiety so I could get out of my head and back into control of my life.
I cultivated the skills and assertive mindset so I could rebuild healthy relationships with boundaries and respect.
And I created a business and framework that helps women do the same thing.
Now, I coach women daily to do what I have done.
